Happy Birthday Max

Maxine turned 6 this past Thursday, here she awaits her frosty paw ice cream.


Lil' Davey has also been growing and doing more and more things on his own. He will be 6 months next week - he is starting to try to hold the bottle on his own. We also had him in for his checkup on Friday and he now weighs 19 lbs 15 oz & is 27 1/2 inches tall. The Dr. said his learning progress is also 2 months further along...so this is all very good news.

Lastly Davey get's a kick when I put his bendy toy on his face like glasses...if that doesn't make you smile I don't know what does!

Winter week (kinda)

We got some snow this past week...ok more like a dusting. It has finally felt like winter the past few days only reaching in the 30's for the high. Max sure does like the snow, she really has been my buddy lately.


I'm also now married to a brunette...no I didn't remarry (don't be ridiculous). Cathy got a trim and color this week...it's been awhile. Isn't she lovely?


Davey is continuing to grow and grow here is the lil' man trying to stand on his own at his play table.


So I have been seeing more and more birds around the house, here is pretty bird...don't really know what kind but I thought I would start feeding them. I got a birdfeeder now so you may see some pics of birds here from time to time.

We closed the evening out with dinner at home...nothing like some sweet potatoes right after Da' Bears win (that's for you Scott)!

This weekend was all about dining out. Friday night we went to a local Diner for dinner only to pull into the parking lot to find we forgot Davey's diaper bag. So we had to drive back home and feed him, then we went out to Arnetto's down in Macungie instead. Well it was 8pm till we ate so we were not that hungry. Now our fridge smells like garlic *UGH*. Then Saturday we went to Teppan Japanese Steakhouse with my Mom, Jeff & brothers & sisters. We had a great time, nothing like hibatchi, warm socki & moche for dessert. Then today we went to Hershey to visit our friends the Koozers. We ate at Fuddruckers, then hitup the outlets for some new digs.

I think Davey has a crush on Kailynn, whatcha think?

Warm Weekend

As most Pennsylvanian's are saying right about now...is it really January? This Saturday was 72; so we decided to take a nice walk through Annadale (where we live). They put in a trail that loops through where the tennis courts will be. Checkout Mommie and Baby striking a pose!



Here is Daddy and Maxie also stopping for a smile...well Max is lickin' her chops as she was ready to start walking again.

Then Saturday night Cathy's family came over to watch the football games, to enjoy some hamburgers and hotdogs...come on it was 70 degrees in the first week in January of course I'm gonna grill!

Then this morning Davey wanted to get his gaming on...not really I just thought it would be cute to stick my headset on him :)

Then finally we relaxed this afternoon after some running around. I caught Davey striking a pose :0

New Years' Baby

First post of the new year...and yes I am able to post. Last night we celebrated the new years at my Dad's house, didn't do too much drinking to be honest. I was having fun watching everyone else get drunk and stupid...sometimes that is more fun ;)

Here are some more pics of our growing giant from yesterday and this morning...Davey is now tipping the scales at 19 lbs!!! It's so amazing how big he has gotten at only 5 months old.
