So there is no doubt that Davey has crawling down, but with the territory comes falling and banging his head. Nothing serious so far but, after a few tears he shakes it off and is right back at it.

Happy Father's Day

This weekend was pretty jammed packed as most are these days. Highlight of the weekend was that it was my first Father's Day. Just being a Dad was enough for me but we did do a few things. We went to the Drive-In's for the first time with Davey & well to be honest the first time we went to the movies in a year. Here are some snaps of Davey before the movies started.




We also did a little more work on the basement, most of the studding is complete. Then today for Father's Day we visited my Dad & my Step-Dad Jeff, here are some more splashy shots of Davey in the pool.

Look at me - Part II

As I posted the other day, Davey is now standing on his own in the crib. Checkout this quick lil video I posted of him in action along with a happy snort laugh at the end. :)

Oh yeah, now that Blogger has implemented a draft version to upload video I will be doing so a lot more!

So over the last few days, Davey is getting more daring and is able to sit himself up and stand on his own while holding on to things. Above is what we are now waking up too. "Look at me Mom & Dad, I'm a big boy!" He also has crawling down pat, he is able to scoot around pretty well. They grow up so quick, huh?

This is what Davey was saying when Cathy walked into his room this morning to pick him up. So mark this day down and Davey's official first word is "Dad". This is one of the most happiest moments of my life :)

Splish Splash, Basement Begun

This week my company started it's summer hours, which means I get out early on Friday's. I decided to stop and pickup Davey a lil' swimming pool. He loves the pools & to swim. But most of all to splash.








Me & my dad started our next big project this weekend...the basement. We have been planning to finish the basement for awhile now. He are the 3 David's standing in front of the first framed wall. WOOHOO! I will continue to keep everyone up to date with the basement project.
