Happy Halloween

So for this Halloween we decided to do a little blast from the past. Above on the left is me (David II) in 1980, on the right is our son (David III) 2007. In case you can't figure out what we were...we were hobo's a.k.a. the BUM.

Here are some more pics from this evening; I must say Davey did very well. We took him to a few houses and he actually picked the candy out of the bowl and put it in his pumpkin.

7 years strong

Today Cathy & I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary...time sure does fly. We look like we make a good couple huh?


My Mom was nice enough to watch lil' Davey this afternoon and evening so Cat & I could have a romantic date.


We went to the movies to see 'Dan in Real Life', with Steve Carell, it was pretty good.

Afterwards we went to have a nice dinner at Starfish in Bethlehem. Cathy had Smoked Duck in a Cherry sauce, I had Crab over Mahi Mahi with Risotto. Everything was nicely prepare and tasted good too :) All in all it was a nice day and we both look forward to many more!

Oh yeah many have been asking how the basement is coming here is a quick lil' slideshow...it's just about done!

Weeeeeekends are great

This past week Davey used the potty twice, we are very proud that he is taking to the potty well...well ok'sih. Cathy is leading this charge as she plops him on it after he wakes up in the morning and then after his nap in the afternoon. Thank god for the pee shield ;)


This past weekend we went down to the Macungie park for a car show, it was nice to get out on a cool day and walk around.

We then broke for some lunch, Davey likes to share.





Animal Cookies were our dessert.

At 12:25 pm today Davey used his potty for the first time. He is 14 months and 10 days old, not bad I might say. Woohoo lil' Buddy congrats!!!

A Fall Festival

This past weekend we went to a fall festival which included a huge corn maze, pumpkin batch and other fall type goodies. This was the first corn maze we ever went too, let me tell you it was no small adventure either. Between it being 80 degrees, pushing a stroller over a windy 3 acres field it was a workout to say the least. Never the less we had a fun day. Enjoy the fall photos!

A lil' Vaca

So I took a few days off to spend some time with the family. We originally had planned to go to the shore for a week but we decided to stay closer to home and plan some day trips. On Friday we went to the Bloomsburg Fair. Checkout Davey above, next to a 840 lb PUMPKIN! The day was nice, huge fair lots of food...even a rainbow showed up.



Then on Sunday we visited our friends Doug, Cheri & their daughter Kail-Lynn. Afterwards we stopped at Hershey Park to take Davey to Chocolate World. He loved the ride!







Davey was tired after a long day on the road, coming home Cat snapped this pic of him all nuzzled up.



Then this morning Davey was up bright an early...a little too early for Mom & Dad. But he wanted to make it up to us by cooking up some eggs (no not really but he has awesome bedhead right?)
