Tree Time & a Reunion

This past week I was off from work so needless to say it was nice. Nice to spend time with the families for Thanksgiving...and most of all to spend time home chillin' with Cat & Davey. Today my last day off we decided to carry on our tradition. Each year since Cat & I have been married we went for our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year we knew it would be more fun since Davey is walking...I mean trying to run now!

Another fun thing this week was waking up at all different times mostly super early. Cheerios anyone? :)

Lastly we went to our 10 year Northern Lehigh High School Reunion, it was great to see some old faces.

First Snow, Brohairs, Chuck E. Cheese & a Big Boy Chair

Today we woke up to find our first snowfall of the winter season...well it's still fall but it sures feels and looks like winter.

Here is our lil' guy chillin

Best dessert ever...a snowball :)

In total I think we got about 2 inches...still falling as of 5pm too.

Davey wanted to feel it first hand

Got a handful and it's cold!

My brohair Jon stopped over Saturday night to watch the UFC fight. Nothing beats a Black -n- Tan at the Snyder's Pub!

Nana Snyder & Cathy took Davey this past week to Chuck E. Cheeses here are some pics from the fun day.

Let's move some dirt!

After a long day nothing beats resting with Dad.

Also big thanks to Grandma Stettler for giving Davey his first big-boy rocker. This is a special chair as my Mom used it when she was a little girl and Jon & I used it when we were kids. Davey loves to sit in it. He is getting so big so fast.

More Firsts

This weekend wasn't as crazy as some recent ones but we sure managed to do a lot. On Saturday afternoon we visited my great Aunt Olive, she is moving after Thanksgiving so we wanted to make sure she had a proper bon voyage.

Davey & his Great Great Aunt Olive

So I mentioned this was more firsts - Saturday morning Davey used the potty right after he woke up. He has been using the potty here and there, normally just after his afternoon nap but this was the first time he used it in the morning. He also has 4 new teeth, his molars poked thru...I mean molders...right huh :) Lastly Davey learned to point to his nose.

Where's your nose? There it is!!!

This evening we also celebrated Grandpa Tifts Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grandpa, you look good for 21! Oh another first, we believe he is alergic to Parmesan cheese. Check out his rosey cheak, this is the 4th occasion with some with Parmesan so looks like he is alergic to it.

Double trouble

Tonight was also Davey's first sleep over - Davey checking on Bradon

Gotta Pea & GPK weekend

This weekend our close friend Doug Koozer stayed over Friday night as he was in town for the Philly Non-Sport Update card show. I was super-jazzed for this show to see Doug's work first hand and also to meet some artists. A lot of the Garbage Pail Kids stuff brought back a lot of memories growing up as before I started collecting Sport Cards I was into GPKs.
