Introducing RJ

Robert John Snyder was born today January 29, 2009 at 9:03pm he weighed in at 9lbs. 5oz. measuring 22in. Cathy & Baby RJ are resting up and are doing well, thanks to everyone for their kind wishes & support!

Overdue

So David was 6 weeks early which means RJ will be late huh? Today was Cathy's due date, it came and went. So what's the plan from here? We are meeting with the Dr. to review what our birthing plan will be this coming Monday. This past Friday the thinking was if RJ doesn't come this weekend Cathy will be scheduled to be induced on February 2nd...yeah 9 days past her due date. Needless to say Cat is not the happiest camper right now. Please be thinking of us till our announcement is made. Oh and it's not that she isn't trying...she is doing laps around the house, drank a glass of wine & well ummm I'm trying to help the process too.

Progress update on the Master Closet, Pop came over today to help tweak the electric and we finished up the insulation getting closer & starting to look like a room!

Snow is Fun

This weekend we were suppose to get a super storm...well we didn't get hammered but we did get a few inches. Enough to warrant the snowsuit and to go out and play.

Getting Closer

Yesterday we had what could be our last level 2 ultrasound checkup at the Perinatal Center, all went well. RJ is measuring in at 7lbs. 6 oz. If Cathy goes to her due date we could see a 8lb baby! What a hump huh?


A common question that everyone asks "Is Lil Davey excited for a new brother?" He is he points to Mommies belly and says Robert clear as day. But sometimes I wonder if he wishes to be a girl...this morning he wore Mommies hair thing around the house :)

Happy New Year to all!

Davey in his 'Nice' coat...see David for the longest time only wanted to wear his red jacket. He refused to wear his yellow winter coat. Well this Christmas Nana & Pop-Pop Tift got him a new snow suit. Cathy tried this on him and said nice coat! Now he calls it 'Nice Coat'.
