So we received sad news this week...that Maxine indeed has cancer. Our vet's initial thoughts was Cushing's Disease but the levels came back much lower than expected. So we needed to go to the next step. I took her to get an ultrasound done near Philly yesterday and the photos show a mass consuming most of her bladder. There won't be any operation given the risk so for now we are taking it day by day. It breaks our heart so much to know that our daughter Maxine has this. She will turn 9 in less than 2 weeks so from each day out we are enjoying all the moments with our lil girl. Today she started a treatment of some meds to ease if there is any pain and the hope to slow it down. Keep you all posted, thanks for everyone's thoughts.
